Middleway Football Club

Middleway Football Club Information and History

Middleway Football Club was established in 1998 by Ken Martin when the team commenced its first year in the Southend & District League. They entered the Southend Borough Combination League in the 2002-2003 season, starting in division 5, they were promoted into division 4 after their first year in the combination league.

A change of management in 2003-2004 brought three of the teams players - Martin Sale, Chris Baldwin and Graham Bevis - to the fore to lead the team into one of its best seasons. They gained promotion into division 3 and had a great victory in the Faux Cup Final.

We would like to thank Martin Sale (Club Chairman/Club secretary) and Vicky Shaw (Assistant Secretary) for all their hard work, we wouldn't have been playing if it weren't for them.
